BPS Supports Our Community

In 2022, for the 17th year in a row, BPS has sponsored a little league team in the Palmetto Baseball League. Team BPS is in the youngest division of PBL, helping to develop baseball skills, life skills, and lifelong friendships in five- and six-year-olds.

BPS’ support started with teams that included Chris Stormer’s sons. We’ve been proud to remain sponsors well past this personal connection.

PBL was founded in 1956 with the specific goal of using the game of baseball to facilitate the development of Columbia’s youth through teamwork and sportsmanship. PBL is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported by the unselfish efforts, contributions and volunteerism of many families in and around Columbia.
